As no one cared enough to know that who in real cited this phrase. So, let me tell you the above quote is cited by an American philosopher,” Ralph Waldo Emerson” in 1860.

It was requoted in Finance and Development lead article by David E. Bloom, who is the Harvard Economist and Health Expert. The article talked about how health is important and is the key source to be happy and building a foundation to remain joyful in life, community, etc.

The meaning of the above phrase is that if you have good health you can have everything in your life. Someone cannot buy his health by being wealthy, and no amount of money can bring your deteriorating health. But your healthy lifestyle can buy you fame, wealth, appreciation, and laurels. Although, never thought to put first your wealth over your health. That is why, it is rightly said “Health is Wealth”.

Increase use of mobile screens, the table works for longer hours in offices, less physical work, improper schedule of sleeping cycle, etc is one of the major problems leading to stress and unhealthy lifestyle among everyone nowadays.
