Tragedy struck the community this week when 17-year-old Osmar Vasquez died in a fatal accident on the Southern State Parkway in Babylon.
Cause of Death
Osmar’s friend was driving his 2009 Nissan Altima in the westbound direction when the accident occurred between the 36th and 37th westbound lane at around 1:30 in noon.
Eyewitnesses reported their vehicle going off-road and colliding with a tree, resulting in his death on the scene.
Osmar was sitting on the front seat of the car, and when the car collided with the tree, they both get injured Osmar was died on the accident scene while his friend sends to the nearby hospital immediately, where the doctors said that he is in critical condition and the chances of his survival is very low.
The young boy had his whole life ahead of him, and his untimely death left a void in the hearts of those who knew him. He was a popular student at his school and had a bright future ahead of him. According to his neighbors, he was a cute and very naughty boy.
His family did not share the news related to his Funeral till now. They ask for privacy and do not want to answer any questions, as we all understand their situation.
